Eyelash Extension

A person holding a specialty license in eyelash extension application may perform only the practice of applying semi-permanent, thread-like extensions composed of single fibers to a person’s eyelashes.

Wink Studios was one of the first salons to teach eyelash extension in the DFW, since 2011.

Become a licensed Eyelash Extensions Specialist and create stunning lash looks for your clients! This 320 hour course meets all the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for an Eyelash Extensions Specialist license. After completion of this course, students are eligible to take the state written and practical exams to receive their license.

At WSL Academy we make sure that each student learns specialized techniques for the most gentle and effective lash application.

Our Lash Instructors provide you with consistent information, but still bring their own flair to our program.

Our hands-on instruction methods take you beyond the basics!

At WSL Academy we teach you more than just how to apply eyelash extensions. We teach proper care for the eye and the sensitive tissue under the eye. Learning complete design technique is also unique to WSL Academy. Your lash instructors will explain how to incorporate the client's face shape, eye shape, brow shape, and desired look into one cohesive design.

Hands-on learning is essential to gaining speed and precise application. Your lash work starts with working on mannequins. Mannequins allow lots of practice and ensure technical precision before you start working on real clients. Once a student has mastered working on mannequins they can practice on fellow students, friends, and family.

We have a variety of curls and lengths to practice any desired look. There is no shortage of eager model volunteers at the school. After you have mastered the application and design techniques, you have the ability to practice your skills on real clients. Once you have graduated, you can go on job interviews with complete confidence in your skills!
